Soul Land stretched 336 chapters in novel over 275 episodes. 90% of animation were repetitions, bogus additions or poor attempts to be funny. Had they followed content, story is worth only 40-50 episodes. There were literally whole lot of 10+ episodes where nothing happened

This one is right now at chapter 5504 and it still isn't over. Following novel exactly at 2-3 chapters per episode. Right now animation is at ch.1090. Arc 1 just began 3 episodes ago.

Btw, chapters are the same length standard for both novels.

Episode 350 is around chapter 1000. If they keep that pace, we will reach chapter 5000 at episode 1750. lol

Wu Shen Zhu Zai really follows the novel to the dot. Even pointless bystander commentaries are animated. The only two differences is that sometimes they extend fight, but not by much (2 instead of 3 chapters per episode) and sometimes they cut explanations when they repeat same thing by making it whole in one go

Well. look at it this way. With current progress episode/chapter, this one has content for 1939.023853211 episodes so far

If SL animation would progress with same speed across the story as this one it would be around 118.370642202 5 min episodes. SL has 18min per episode so that means by following novel, SL would finish in 32.880733945 episodes.
